Sexton’s Gallery
Set in the heart of Widecombe-in-the-Moor, Sexton’s Gallery is an independent gallery and shop celebrating Dartmoor and the creativity it inspires. It brings together original art, prints, ceramics, gifts, books and locally made pieces, making it a lovely place to discover something with a real connection to the moor.
Sexton’s Gallery is a valued supporter of the Dartmoor Pony Heritage Trust, helping us in our work to secure a future for Dartmoor’s heritage ponies and the people who breed and care for them.

Dartmoor Lodge
On the edge of Ashburton and Dartmoor, the Dartmoor Lodge is a traditional country inn offering locally sourced food, a welcoming bar and rooms for those exploring the moor.
The Dartmoor Lodge supports the Dartmoor Pony Heritage Trust through its Dartmoor Breakfast, with 50p from every one sold donated to DPHT.
So simply by sitting down to a Dartmoor Breakfast, guests are helping us support Dartmoor’s heritage ponies and the farmers and keepers who care for them.

The Dolphin Hotel
At the Dolphin Hotel in Bovey Tracey, a traditional Friday meat draw is raising funds for Dartmoor’s heritage ponies.
The draw was a long-standing Dolphin tradition and, when the pub reopened, local couple Paul and his wife stepped in to keep it going. What began simply as a way of continuing a popular Friday night soon started generating extra funds and, together with the Dolphin, they decided these should support the Dartmoor Pony Heritage Trust.
Tickets are sold every Friday from 5pm, with the draw at 6.30pm and meat supplied by local butcher Cox & Laflin. It has quickly developed a regular following and a great Friday evening atmosphere.
As Paul says: “Bovey Tracey is the Gateway to Dartmoor and the Dartmoor ponies are at the heart of Dartmoor.”

Virginia Pope
Artist Virginia Pope has a long connection with Dartmoor and its ponies, which have inspired much of her distinctive equestrian work. She is also the artist and author behind Hooves in the Heather, celebrating the Dartmoor pony through art and storytelling.
Virginia supports DPHT through her art, including selling cards to raise funds, providing artwork for projects and generously giving her time and creative skills to help the Trust.
Flapjackery
Born on the edge of Dartmoor, Flapjackery creates award-winning handmade flapjacks and treats from its bakery in Devon, with shops across the South West and beyond.
A long-standing supporter of local causes, Flapjackery supports the Dartmoor Pony Heritage Trust by providing prizes for competitions and fundraising activities, helping us raise awareness and bring new people to the work of the Trust.
