Trudie Jenkins – Honorary Treasurer

Trudie is the Honorary Treasurer of the DPHT. In addition she managed volunteers, supports the DPHT stand at events, assists with school liaison and encouraging participation in educational walks. Trudie sits on the Board of Trustees as an advisor and sits on the Operations Team Meetings.

Trudie has previously been a Trustee of the DPHT where she managed the charity’s finances and was responsible for HR.

Trudie is an accountant in practice. She has worked with horses and is a keen rider. Active in the Pony Club when her children were growing up, both her sons had Dartmoor ponies and she developed a deep affection for them. She has been involved with DPHT since summer 2020. Becoming a trustee was a natural progression as she became increasingly aware of the urgent need to champion this wonderful Heritage breed.
