Ellie Polley – NHLF Support, PR and Comms

Ellie will be working with the DPHT to provide support to the National Lottery Heritage Fund Project which started in early February. In addition Ellie will have responsibility for editing the Member Newsletter, Volunteer Newsletter and updating news on the DPHT website.

Ellie is presently studying BA Geography at Plymouth University. Her dissertation is on environmental management in Dartmoor National Park, with particular focus on the potential for nature recovery initiatives. 

She has a passion and active intersest in nature and particularly how pony grazing can help improve the biodiversity of Dartmoor’s upland landscapes. 

Ellie has lived within the bounds of Dartmoor National Park for her entire life and was fortunate to have a Dartmoor Pony as a child. She now spends her spare time exploring the moors with her horse Coco.
