Donation from Ashcombe Village Hall

Each year Cath Anderson (Operations Manager, DPHT) provides help and assistance to the Ashcombe Village Show . This is a small community of 60 and are very proud of their Club house which was built in 1938 . It is used to bring the whole community together, organising a wide range of events from clay shoots, fetes, fun days, horse and dog shows. Money raised is given to local charities and this year 10 benefited from their generosity. We are very grateful for the donation that Ashcombe Village Hall made to the DPHT of £500. Every amount we receive helps us to continue to preserve the Dartmoor Heritage Pony, support farmers and breeders, provide education to the next generation, maintain a large conservation site at Bellever in conjunction with FE as well as lobby on behalf of the ponies for their future protection.
