Sam Handfield-Jones – General Manager

Sam is General Manager of the DPHT, responsible for the day to day operations of the charity.

Sam has had a varied career, originally studying marine biology he worked as a sales person, a rural accountant, an investment analyst and a finance director before running early stage fintech companies. Outside of the DPHT Sam invests into early stage technology businesses, provides founder coaching and sits on the Advisory Board of Breakthrough, a social enterprise bringing AI to disadvantaged groups.

Sam lives on Dartmoor and is passionate about the landscape and the Ponies that look after it.
