Huge thanks to the National Trust team of staff and volunteers who brought the wood chip from the sites they have been working on around the parkland, to ‘top up’ our corral. This sort of arrangement works so well. They have been clearing the ‘lost’ pond at Parke, well as dealing with damaged and broken trees around the estate- and the chippings created are now being put to good use to top up our corral that is used for the ponies to relax and roll in and sometimes for our students to put their pony handling skills to good use!
Photos show Steve and his team – ably assisted by regular DPHT visiting dogs Eddy and Summer – delivering and spreading the woodchips for us.
Again, a big Thankyou to you all.
