What a wonderful day yesterday (Sunday) out at Bellever. There was a bit of a nip in the air, the sun was shining and the wind was keen, as was the group!
Group pictured walking toward Bellever Tor after discovering the Bronze Age village and seeing the benefits of conservation grazing with ponies and the research site where work is being carried out on Lakehead Hill.
Several of the ponies decided to join us when we reached the Tor which was a wonderful sight to behold. They look in such good condition in their thick Winter coats, ready to take on the elements.
Sunnys Girl – fondly known as Toffee even took part in entertaining everyone by pulling faces. She is such a cheeky girl!
Thank you to everyone who joined us on this pilot Membership Walk and we do hope that you will all be able to join us on the next excursion.
Please look out for details in the New Year.
