Group at Parke July 2022
Bovey Tracey Primary at Parke – Co-Op Community Fund Project

We have had the joy of holding 4 sessions at our Centre in Parke, Bovey Tracey funded by the Co-op Community Fund in addition to 6 groups transported out to our site at Bellever in the heart of Dartmoor during June and July this year.

This is how we used the funds raised by being nominated as a your local charity supported by all you wonderful Co-op Members.

Thank you so much – we hope that we are successful in our application this year so that we can continue to offer the opportunity to more local schools

Tink (Barramoor Tinkerbell)  our yearling filly is turning out to be an amazing asset for our outreach sessions. She was whinnying as the children  left. Which is very unusual, for a filly to canter down the field and wanting to interact as she does is one in a twenty. We struck lucky with her., considering her back story.

She is so good with letting Dru explain whiskers and their use without trying to nip or nibble ????

Testimonial from Bovey Tracey Primary

I just wanted to take the opportunity to thank you and your team for all the hard work put in to organising our trips to DPHT Parke and Bellever.  The children all had a fabulous time and I know from conversations I have had with children across the school all learnt a great deal about our local environment.

Once again thank you so much for this generous opportunity you gave to them all.

Kind regards

Caroline Andrews
